The Biolarvicides Project
Tanzania Biotech Products Limited (TBPL) is a subsidiary company of National Development Corporation (NDC) that is engaged in the manufacturing of biological products through its plant located at Kibaha, Coast Region. However for the time being the plant is manufacturing only biolarvicides aiming at fighting malaria in the country and in other African countries.
In the future, the plant will manufacture all biological products including bio fertilizers and food supplement. The plant was constructed in collaboration with M/s LABIOFAM S.A. of Cuba, which provided the technology and project management under a Turnkey Agreement with NDC.
